Sheet Society

Rugs played a defining role in shaping the Sheet Society Burnley concept store, designed as an “open home” to create a warm, welcoming retail experience.

Using stocked ranges of Era and Score as custom rugs, the space was carefully zoned into micro-environments, each reflecting different lifestyle settings and product stories. The rug shapes were inspired by Sheet Society’s brand language, echoing its signature forms to create a cohesive and considered identity throughout the space. The flexibility of the Signature Floors product, combined with short lead times, enabled a fully customised solution, addressing a common retail challenge where bespoke flooring is often difficult to achieve within tight project timelines.

Colour selection played an equally important role. Tones of blue, purple, and deep burgundy were introduced to complement and elevate the finishes palette, adding depth and richness across each zone. By varying tones throughout the store, the rugs create subtle contrast and visual interest, encouraging movement and exploration. Crafted from wool blend carpet, Era and Score also bring practical benefits to the space. Their durability supports high foot traffic, while natural acoustic properties help soften noise. Easy to maintain, they offer a considered balance of performance and design.
