As part of Signature Floors’ Circul8® carpet tile recycling initiative, Impasto contributes to circular economy principles by reducing end-of-life waste. Stocked in Comfi Bak®, the backing is manufactured from 100% PET and contains approximately 48 recycled plastic bottles per square metre.
Impasto is stocked in Comfi Bak®, providing enhanced acoustic performance and underfoot comfort for contemporary commercial interiors. The backing system reduces airborne sound by up to 30% and impact sound by up to 32dB, helping create quieter, more comfortable environments.
For projects requiring an alternative backing solution, Thermo Bak® is available as a custom option for areas over 100m², providing additional flexibility to meet project-specific performance and installation requirements.
I actually think these are stronger than the Pigment sections because they lean into what makes Impasto different—materiality, coordination with Static and Infinity Planks, Shapes by Signature®, and the design flexibility that’s central to the brochure—rather than feeling like a template with the product name swapped.
