ResiLoop: Responsible Product Stewardship

That’s why we are proud to be a founding member of ResiLoop, Australia’s first national product stewardship scehem for resilient flooring. Developed to address the challenges associated with the consumption and end-of-life management of resilient floorcoverings, ResiLoop is focussed on advancing recycling research, developing local recycling solutions and creating long-term pathways for material recovery.

Resilient flooring products, including luxury vinyl tiles and sheet vinyl, are designed for durability and can deliver decades of performance. As demand for these products continues to grow across Australia, so too does the importance of ensuring valuable resources remain in use for as long as possible.

While environmental certifications and ecolabel programs play an important role in promoting responsible manufacturing and material selection, a truly circular economy extends beyond production. It requires a commitment to designing out waste, extending product life, encouraging re-use and creating viable recycling outcomes at end of life.

For Signature Floors, this means continually investing in innovative product design, sustainable manufacturing practices and partnerships that support resource recovery. By collaborating across the supply chain, we can help reduce environmental impacts and contribute to a more sustainable flooring industry.
