Encouraging flexible working and collaboration at OpenText, Sydney
Creating activity zones via flooring is an effective strategy in workplace design. Sprawled across two floors and 1,800 sqm, OpenText’s office in North Sydney offers ample evidence of successful zoning in its design. In that, designers Hot Black used our Botanica carpet planks in conjunction with Moss planks to differentiate collaboration areas from the other spaces.
The planks’ organic and textured designs create a unified flow, while the colours lend vibrancy, clearly defining spaces. We particularly love how within the open-plan work area, our carpet tiles contribute to creating a quiet collaboration space with sheer curtains adding a layer of privacy.
The choice of flooring makes excellent environmental sense too – Signature’s carpet tiles come with Green Tag Certifications and Declare Labels. These planks are also available with acoustic backing options – creating quieter workplaces.
