Custom Design Woven Axminster
Signature Floorcoverings has been a proud supporter of the interior design industry for many years. We have always brought to market new innovative products.
Using Electronic Jacquard (EJ) Looms, Axminster Carpets can turn any concept into a floor covering reality.
Our custom design process enables designers to explore their design concepts from a clean sheet of paper. Designers can use the inspiration around them to develop a concept or theme. The Interior Designer is then able to develop a unique concept starting with the floor coverings.
Using Computer Aid Design (CAD) and liaising with our experienced Textile Design Team, we are able to create carpet concept ideas. These CAD are created using designs and colour input from the Interior Designer. Once these designs are approved Signature can flood the carpet design into a picture.
This allows both the Interior Designer and client to visually see the design concept in a practical situation.
The next stage in the process is to commission a KIBBY sample. A Kibby sample is a small piece of carpet designed to be representative of the colour and design of the intended carpet. Interior Designers can then use this sample to submit to clients for their approval of the finishes in a building.
On approval of the client and during the building process the Axminster Carpet is manufacture to the specification agreed upon during the design process.
The end result is an impressive uniquely designed floor covering, which compliments the intended design of the interior design for the client.
