Colourgard - Sun protection
Ultraviolet light and direct sunlight will affect your carpet. Carpets treated with Colourgard® however strongly reduce the likelihood of this happening. The active ingredient in Colourgard is physically bonded to the carpet yarn and protects against UV radiation caused when in direct contact with sunlight. The application is permanent, resistant to wet cleaning and designed to withstand the lifecycle of the finished product.
Colourgard has also been tested and approved by the independent testing laboratory AWTA. Nylon carpets not treated with Colourgard may lose their colour if not protected by window furnishings.
